Energy-efficient Radiant Boiler/Hydronic Heating in the Comox Valley Region

Heating Sytem Technician

The radiant boiler or hydronic system heats water and moves it through sealed pipes to radiators throughout the home. The sealed system can also be used to heat towel racks, floors, stairs, walls, or anywhere where it is needed. Courtenay Plumbing offers hydronic heating services throughout the Comox Valley from Qualicum Beach to Campbell River, including Cumberland and Courtenay.

Hydronic heating heats water at its source via energy-efficient gas boilers. Once used, the water is returned to be reheated via a recirculating system. Typically each room has a panel radiator that operates as a heat emitter that pushes out natural radiant heat. Each of the radiators can be individually adjusted to provide ultimate comfort in each room. Unlike air-forced central heating systems, there are no airborne particles, which provides an allergen-free form of heating and makes it ideal for medical conditions such as asthma.

Modern hydronic technology enables heat to be delivered when and where it is needed. Multiple system configurations are possible, and each is capable of meeting the comfort requirements of individual rooms. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about hydronic systems. Courtenay Plumbing’s heating system can save you money and increase your comfort.
